A "Power 10s" ticket bought at My Dollar & More in Gaithersburg led to two brothers from Severn cashing in a $100,000 prize that still has their heads spinning as they ponder what to do with the sudden windfall.

According to Lottery officials, the pair travel together for work, and when they stop for lunch or to hydrate, they tend to purchase scratch-off tickets to help pass the time.

This time, Lady Luck was on their side.

Lottery officials say that the two stopped at the store and stashed the $10 scratcher away until they finished out their work day. Later, while enjoying some time off, they scratched it realized that they had a $100,000 ticket burning a hole in their pocket for hours.

The two said they plan to split their winnings right down the middle, but only after they throw a massive family party to celebrate. The rest isn't earmarked for anything in particular, they added.

This was the last "Power 10s" top prize available. My Dollar & More also received a $1,000 bonus from Maryland Lottery for selling the winning ticket.
